In April, Mike Tyson caught the public’s attention when he announced that he would return to the ring to play “a few charity rounds”. The “Iron Fist” appeared quite serious about his return and regularly posted training videos on his personal page. However, the most sensational thing was the change in the 53-year-old former boxer’s body. No longer overweight, Mike appeared with bulging muscles and a six-pack in his latest photos.
On social media, many fans were curious about Mike’s dramatic transformation. Many of them, including famous martial arts commentator Joe Rogan, raised suspicions that the “Iron Fist” used stimulants. Some people thought that Mike used editing software to look better on camera.
Not letting netizens speculate any further, Mike Tyson recently revealed on the radio the secret to quickly losing fat and gaining muscle. Accordingly, he said he used stem cell therapy, a method used by Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal to treat injuries.
“I have been using this therapy for 6 weeks now and I am in the best condition. Actually, I have not finished this process yet. If you do not know, I use stem cell therapy. When they take my blood out, it is red but when they inject it back, it becomes a clear liquid. It is strange,” Mike shared.
According to information from the DailyStar, Mike Tyson will spend from 5,000 euros to 25,000 euros for the stem cell therapy. In return, the “Iron Fist”‘s body will become more comfortable and less painful during training.
“What you have to do is do cardio. I did 2 hours of cardio a day and it worked. You have to eat right. I felt like I was a slave to food. I was forced to eat things I hated and pretended like it was nothing. I was forced to do things when I didn’t want to. That’s it. Only then can you succeed.”
The expensive therapy will not be effective without training and nutrition. Mike revealed that he had to eat foods that were not very pleasant but beneficial.
