Stephen Curry Exposes LeBron James’ Unwavering Faith in Him Despite Shocking Olympic Shooting Struggles

Stephen Curry recently opened up about a surprising moment from the Olympics, revealing that even during his shooting slump, LeBron James had unwavering faith in him. Curry, alongside LeBron, played a pivotal role in leading Team USA to their fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal. While both superstars delivered standout performances, Curry’s journey through the tournament didn’t start off as smoothly as expected.

At the beginning of the Olympics, the usually deadly-shooting Golden State Warriors guard struggled to find his rhythm. In the opening games, he missed shots that he’d typically sink with ease, leaving fans and critics wondering what was wrong. Despite this, Curry remained confident that he would bounce back—and LeBron’s belief in him never wavered.

During a recent appearance on The Late Show, Curry recalled a memorable post-game interview following an early matchup against Puerto Rico. A reporter from the Bay Area asked Curry if he was worried about his shooting struggles. Without hesitation, Curry confidently replied, “No, we’re winning. I know it’s gonna come. I know a flurry is coming.” Just as he finished speaking, LeBron, with his unmistakable deep voice, walked by and added, “Damn right it is,” boosting Curry’s confidence even further.

That moment was a turning point for Curry, who went on to deliver clutch performances in the semifinals against Serbia and the gold medal game against France. With LeBron’s support and Curry’s resilience, Team USA claimed yet another Olympic victory. This behind-the-scenes moment not only highlights Curry’s mental toughness but also the camaraderie and leadership LeBron brings to the court, even when one of his teammates is struggling
