Revealed Footage Of Anthony Joshua Taking Off His Gloves To Hold The Microphone While He Rapped With So Solid Crew, Extremely Funnya
ANTHONY JOSHUA ditched his boxing gloves for the microphone as he rapped alongside the So Solid Crew.
The 34-year-old heavyweight proved he’s more than just a boxer when he took the stage, introduced by lead singer Lisa Maffia yesterday. Anthony Joshua joined the So Solid Crew on stage, singing along to their hit record “21 Seconds.” He rapped with members Lisa Maffia and Romeo, danced, and hugged Maffia, showing off his musical talents. AJ then had a go on the dodgems.
The iconic British garage group was performing at the Kool Kids Fest in Edgware, and the crowd was left shocked as AJ joined the group to perform their hit “21 Seconds.” He hopped on stage and MC’d in style, proving he’s a natural performer. Fans loved it, with one saying, “Smashing it as always.” Another added, “Never disappoints.”
After the brilliant performance, Joshua and Maffia got into a dodgems car together. They were on the receiving end of a huge bump from a fellow driver, despite the former two-time world champion’s best efforts to steer them clear of danger. Maffia wrote on social media, “He did try to save me.”
Joshua is a huge fan of the So Solid Crew, and this isn’t the first time he’s joined them on stage. He nailed the rap of “21 Seconds” back in 2020 at the Garage Nation festival. He has also previously shown his musical talents, rapping along to Skepta and JME’s record “That’s Not Me” at an event in Dubai four years ago.
Despite showing off his vocals, AJ remains focused on becoming world champion again. He next faces Daniel Dubois at Wembley on Saturday, September 21. The winner is set to face either Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk, with the chance to become the undisputed champion of the world.
