The row between Ralf Schumacher and his ex-wife, Cora Schumacher, has erupted again just days after the former F1 star attended his niece’s wedding along with his new boyfriend, Etienne.

Ralf announced he was gay back in July, with the 49-year-old confirming his relationship with Etienne in the process.

In the time since, however, the German has become embroiled in a war of words with his ex-wife, Cora.

Cora, who split with Schumacher back in 2015 after 14 years of marriage, has previously claimed she feels like she ‘wasted her best years’ with him.

Ralf insists he told Cora that he was in a relationship with a man prior to announcing the news to the rest of the world and claimed in a television interview that she had blocked him on WhatsApp.

This is something the former model denies.

And Cora, according to BILD, has instructed her legal team to send a letter to Schumacher’s lawyers saying that his allegation is false.

According to the newspaper, the legal document sent by Cora’s team says: “You (Ralf Schumacher, editor’s note) claim that you wanted to clarify the matter with our client, and even more: that you tried to do so.

“An attempt that failed (unilaterally) because our client ‘blocked’ you on her social media accounts and on her cell phone.

“This is untrue in several respects.”

The report alleges that Cora has only blocked her former husband on WhatsApp.

It’s claimed Schumacher is still able to contact her via phone call or text message, too.

The legal letter reportedly contunues: “You (Ralf Schumacher) are very familiar with our client’s telephone numbers and email addresses.

“The same goes for your Etienne (his partner), who even called our client after you came out together.”

It’s also been claimed that Cora would be willing to have a phone call with Schumacher in order to put their feud to bed.

She has confessed to feeling ‘used’ by the former F1 driver – with Schumacher previously leaking messages that showed his ex-wife congratulating him on his new relationship.

The latest development in their ongoing war of words comes just days after Ralf attended the wedding of his niece, Gina-Maria.

Gina-Maria Schumacher tied the knot with long-term boyfriend Iain Bethke at a private ceremony in Spain.

Reports have claimed Michael Schumacher, Ralf’s brother, was also in attendance for the big event.

Michael lives a life shrouded in secrecy these days after sustaiining life-changing injuries following a tragic skiing accident in 2013.

Guests at the ceremony were required to hand over mobile phones.

There is still no update on Michael’s condition, with the 55-year-old previously winning seven F1 titles to establish himself as one of the greatest in the sport’s entire history.
