Though not widely known in the boxing world, Birdsong boasted an impressive record of 15 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, with 10 knockouts. He was scheduled to fight Armenian Gor Yeritsyan (18-1) on October 26 at LA’s Commerce Casino.
