Alpine has confirmed that Pierre Gasly will stay with the team until 2025 as the latest piece of the 2025 F1 driver jigsaw is completed. Gasly becomes the 13th driver to lock himself out for 2025, meaning there are just seven seats left and more drivers than cockpits wanting to fill them.
Mercedes, Williams, RB, and Stake F1 and now Alpine each have just one seat left to fill with Haas having both up for grabs, as of June 27.
Lewis Hamilton has kicked off the driving market with the shock revelation that he will join Ferrari next year, ending his long and highly successful partnership with Mercedes. Nico Hulkenberg will also leave Haas as he sets up shop at Stake F1 before moving to the Audi works team in 2026.
Esteban Ocon will also be looking for a new challenge, confirming he will leave Alpine at the end of the year. Take a look below at what has been confirmed for the 2025 F1 campaign.
