“NOT REALLY” Leclerc Suddenly Gave A Gloomy Assessment Of Ferrari

Charles Leclerc admits Ferrari cannot be considered a favorite at any upcoming race on the F1 schedule. Ferrari made a strong start to the campaign and regularly secured podium positions behind leaders Red Bull.

However, the race has become more balanced at recent events with McLaren and Mercedes closely following Red Bull.
Meanwhile, Ferrari has been unable to keep up with the progress of its direct rivals and is currently fourth in the order, despite wins in Australia and Monaco this year. When asked by the media, including RacingNews365, if there were any upcoming races that could put Ferrari as a contender, Leclerc replied: “Not really. I mean, if we continue like this with our car, I don’t think so. “Monaco is a very, very specific track where we are very strong, but that doesn’t mean we will be faster anywhere else throughout the season. “So, no, I don’t think on paper we’re rated higher anywhere.”

Leclerc provided an update on concerns on the floor
Ferrari has consistently insisted the major upgrade package it is bringing to Spain this year includes speed – however, unlocking the potential has proven to be the main challenge. The car was noted to bounce at high speeds, and Leclerc admitted that it will not be resolved for this weekend’s race at Spa-Francorchamps. “There is an understanding [with the exchange] and things are definitely moving in the right direction,” Leclerc said.

“The problem we’re facing is that it’s either on or off, and it’s very difficult to see improvement. “Maybe you have it for a shorter period of time, and what I’m talking about is mostly the bounce, but it’s not like you improve the intensity of it, so whenever you have it, you will have it. “So we are taking steps in the right direction, whether it is enough to not have it or not, I am not sure yet, and I expect that in Spa the problem may arise again.”
