Mike Perry plans to relentlessly pressure Jake Paul in their upcoming boxing match, aiming to deny him any respite in the ring. Perry, known for his transition from UFC to bare-knuckle boxing, stepped in as a replacement for Mike Tyson, who withdrew due to health reasons. Despite Paul being favored to win, Perry is confident in continuing his successful streak and has drawn inspiration from Paul’s previous loss to Tommy Fury.
“I’m going to hit him and he’s not going to like it,” Perry stated on Morning Kombat. “I’m going to chase him around the ring, I’m going to make him tired and keep that pressure on him.” Perry emphasized that he doesn’t extensively study his opponents’ tactics but would focus on highlights from Paul’s fight against Tommy Fury to strategize for their upcoming bout.
