In an interview with Michael Bisping, “Platinum” Mike Perry openly discussed his ambitious plans ahead of his boxing match with Jake Paul. Perry revealed that he aims not just to knock out “The Problem Child” but also to take Paul’s place in the highly anticipated fight against Mike Tyson.

“I might nibble on his ear a little bit, get him ready for if he thinks he’s gonna fight Mike Tyson. I’m trying to ruin that whole thing for him, see if they offer it to me after I knock Jake out and be like, ‘Hey, do you want to fight Mike Tyson on Netflix?’ I would, but I don’t want to be an a**hole either. And I could go in there and move around with him and if Mike can’t knock me out, which I don’t know, he might be able to hurt me pretty good and then I’ll be the bad guy if I do good against the old guy,” Perry explained.

Perry emphasized that his main goal is to step in and take the fight against Tyson, but he also expressed concern about not wanting to hurt Tyson’s financial interests. “That’s the real win here, if I can stop that, but I don’t want it to hurt Mike’s pockets either,” he added. “If Mike wants to get paid and he wants to fight, well then I’ll step in for Jake. I’ll put my guard up real good, let him punch on me.”

Tensions are rising as both fighters engage in a heated exchange of trash talk leading up to the match. Paul and Perry are confident and determined, each vowing to come out on top. The fight between Paul and Perry is set for July 20, while Paul’s bout with Tyson has been rescheduled for November 15.
