Max Verstappen Shocks The World By Revealing A £40m Private Jet And A £5m Collection Of 11 Cars

As F1’s highest-paid driver, Max Verstappen enjoys an incredible life of luxury

Max Verstappen lives a life of luxury and extravagance away from the circuit, spending his time enjoying the perks of Monaco residency and making the most of his awe-inspiring car collection.

The Dutch driver has risen to the top of F1 in recent years, following up his controversial maiden World Championship with a dominant second in 2022, and all signs suggest that the 25-year-old is heading for a third consecutive triumph in 2023 as he looks to consolidate a 125-point lead at the top of the standings.

Verstappen’s extravagant lifestyle is largely funded by his monster salary. After signing a new long-term deal that will keep him at Red Bull until the end of the 2028 season, the Dutch driver now brings in an eye-watering annual salary of £46.9 million ($60m), according to Forbes.

A large chunk of his income looks to have been invested into his car collection, which is made up of 11 different vehicles. While he has plenty of impressive machinery under his ownership, the crown jewel in Verstappen’s garage is the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

The project was key to keeping legendary engineer Adrian Newey with the team as the Red Bull designer worked with Aston Martin to turn the hypercar into a reality. Only 150 units of the Valkyrie were ever produced with the first going on sale at the end of 2021 for a price of £2.7 million ($3.5m), and Verstappen has one in his collection.

Verstappen actually found himself in hot water in August 2023 when he appeared to be speeding behind the wheel of the Valkyrie in a video posted by family friend Mark Cox during the summer break.

Alongside the Valkyrie in his collection sits three other Aston Martin-produced cars. The Dutchman owns the road-legal edition of the DB11, as seen in the James Bond movie ‘Spectre’ as well as a DBS Superleggera and 2018 Vantage.
