Max Verstappen has received an additional penalty from the organizers of the Austrian Formula 1 race for colliding with Lando Norris.
With a crash on the 64th lap that forced Norris out of the race and Verstappen dropped to fifth place after a punctured tire, the judges fined the world champion 10 seconds.
However, that did not drop him to fifth place as he was well ahead of Nico Hulkenberg’s Haas
However, the management board also decided to fine Verstappen two points on his super driving license, bringing the total number of penalty points in a 12-month period to four, of which 12 more points are needed to be banned.
