It’s almost time for the 11th race of the 2024 Formula 1 season – the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix!
Max Verstappen was on the hunt for a perfect weekend, topping the sprint practice and qualifying rounds, then winning the sprint round before claiming first place in the grand prix, almost half a second ahead of his rivals.
Like in recent times, his closest rival is Lando Norris in the McLaren – on a track where Norris plays very well.
Unfortunately for Norris, Verstappen won the Red Bull Ring in 2018, 2019, twice in 2021 and 2023, and won both previous Spielberg sprints.
Can anyone stop Verstappen from claiming his eighth win of the season to claim his 62nd Grand Prix championship in the upcoming 71 races?
