Lil Wayne dropped a bombshell during a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, revealing that he hasn’t eaten fast food in the past two decades. In fact, the rap icon went so far as to claim he doesn’t even know what McDonald’s smells like! While many fans were left stunned by this revelation, it seems Lil Wayne has been living a lifestyle far removed from the fast food world.
During the interview, Wayne reflected on his decision to hire a personal chef at just 19 years old, a move his mother wholeheartedly supported. “My mom is a chef, so when I moved to Miami at 19, she was thrilled. She wanted me to get a personal chef, and I’ve had one ever since,” he explained. “I haven’t had fast food in a very long time. I don’t even know what McDonald’s smells like.”
In addition to his fast-food confession, Lil Wayne also opened up about his fitness routine—or lack thereof. “I don’t lift weights or exercise at all,” Wayne admitted, adding that his focus has been more on music and creativity.
Despite his unconventional lifestyle, Wayne is still thriving in the music industry. Just recently, he released his new track “Kant Nobody,” featuring a posthumous verse from DMX, and has been keeping busy creating his own character for NBA 2K23.
Lil Wayne also received some heartfelt recognition from fellow rapper NLE Choppa, who recently expressed his admiration for the hip-hop legend. Choppa presented Wayne with flowers and a signed skateboard, telling him, “You’ve inspired and influenced my life in so many ways. This is my way of giving you my award.”
Wayne’s journey continues to inspire, with his unique lifestyle choices only adding to the mystique of one of the greatest rappers of all time
