A throwback interview with Justin Bieber is going viral as the singer opens up about his feelings for Billie Eilish.

The candid footage comes from a live chat with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, where the Biebs was promoting his latest tunes from his album ‘Changes’.

During the chat, Zane asked Justin about his relationship with Billie Eilish, who has always been a passionate Belieber and famously lost her cool when they ran into each other at Coachella in 2019.

When asked if he felt protective of the rising star, Justin confessed: “Yeah, I definitely feel protective of her.”

He recounted his difficult journey, sharing the challenges of pursuing fame at such a young age, surrounded by friends who would confess their love one minute and then dump him the next.

Visibly emotional and fighting back tears, the pop star expressed his support for Billie: “I just let her do what she wants and if she needs me, I’ll always be there for her.”

He said seriously: “I just want to protect her. I don’t want her to lose it. I don’t want her to go through anything I went through,” making his intentions clear. “I don’t want that to happen to anyone. So if she needs me, I’m just a phone call away.”

Since hitting the spotlight as a young man, Bieber has weathered a number of storms, including run-ins with the law for drunk driving and vandalism, not to mention being open about his struggles with depression and anxiety during his rise to fame.

The chat with Zane isn’t Justin’s only viral video. An old clip of Justin hanging out with Diddy has also resurfaced on social media. In the clip, a 15-year-old Bieber and a 40-year-old Diddy are seen talking to the camera, as Diddy reveals their upcoming plans.

“He has 48 hours with Diddy, where we hang out and what we do, we can’t tell you, but it’s a 15-year-old’s dream,” he reveals in the clip. The music mogul later added: “I don’t have legal custody of him [Bieber] but for the next forty-eight hours he’s going to be with me and we’re going crazy.”
