Jake Paul Reveals Ambitious Three-Bout Plan Including Tommy Fury Rematch And Cruiserweight Surprise

Jake Paul has set his sights on a rematch with Tommy Fury and a cruiserweight world title shot as part of his lofty boxing ambitions. The YouTuber-turned-prizefighter, now with a record of 10-1, secured a victory over ex-UFC star and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry.

After his win, Paul called out Tommy Fury for a rematch. The two have agreed to face off in an MMA cage, but not before Paul pursues matches against Mike Tyson, UFC champ Alex Pereira, and Fury.

On his podcast, Paul stated, “I want Tyson, I want Alex Pereira, I want the Tommy Fury rematch, and then I want to go for the cruiserweight belt. But somewhere in there, definitely MMA would be fun. I just need six months for a proper camp.”

Paul, 27, was originally scheduled to fight Tyson, 58, on July 20, but the boxing icon pulled out due to health concerns. Perry, 32, stepped in, and the controversial clash with Tyson has been rescheduled for November 15.

After defeating Perry in six rounds, which included three knockdowns, Paul called out UFC light-heavyweight champ Pereira, 37. The Brazilian ex-kickboxer hinted at a boxing switch on social media, encouraged by Anthony Joshua, 34.

Fury, 25, remains the only boxer to have defeated Paul, winning via split decision in their February 2023 grudge match in Saudi Arabia. Fury then went on to beat Paul’s rival KSI, 31, in a contentious six-round decision in October but has not fought since due to hand surgery.

American Paul will travel to Paris to support the USA Olympic boxing team before beginning preparations for his rescheduled fight against Iron Mike Tyson.
