Oscar Piastri finally claimed his first Formula 1 victory at the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix last weekend, although the Australian driver didn’t steal all the attention.
The title was taken by Lando Norris and Max Verstappen because of their separate interactions on the radio, which added incredible tension to the race.
At first, Norris appeared to ignore team orders to let Piastri pass, while Verstappen repeatedly criticized Red Bull for its strategy.
Behind Piastri, Norris finished second to secure McLaren’s first win since the 2021 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, while Lewis Hamilton completed the podium for his 200th podium.
