“I’m Not Really Good At It” Lando Norris Revealed The Reason For Failing His Driver’s License

In the build-up to the British Grand Prix, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri appeared on Heart Breakfast with Amanda Holden. Norris took the opportunity to reveal that he had failed his driving test. This is only the second time the 2024 Miami GP champion has passed the test.

Norris explained that he failed the theory part of his driving test. He said, “I failed the theory part. The part where you have to think! I’m not really good at that, so…” This confession allowed the hosts to engage the duo in a mind games – two of the most difficult questions in the theory part of the driving test.

The first question is about braking distance. Norris answered safely about braking early. This prompted his “special judge”, none other than David Coulthard, to say that if he wanted to win the British GP this weekend, he would have to brake later!

In the end, Piastri defeated his teammate resoundingly. The British could not answer any of the questions correctly. However, driver #81 passed the test, proving that Norris had failed the theory driving test the first time.

Lando Norris has his eyes on the prize as the British GP approaches
The mood in England is filled with optimism and excitement as the 2024 British GP is right around the corner. Fans have been waiting to see McLaren and Norris at Silverstone ever since it became clear that the number 4 driver was a potential title challenger for Max Verstappen.

Norris revealed that as the weekend gets closer, his excitement levels also increase. He wanted to give his home crowd an unforgettable experience and his only goal was to win his home Grand Prix.

Norris admitted that he still feels the adrenaline and excitement from his first F1 win at Miami, just a few months ago. However, he knew he needed to move forward. He wants to win again and his entire focus is now on maximizing his weekend at the iconic Silverstone Circuit.
