F1 drivers’ fitness will be tested at the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix next weekend, with very hot weather forecast at the event.
Round 13 of the campaign will take place at the Hungaroring, when Max Verstappen enters the circuit with the aim of increasing his lead in the championship.
McLaren and Mercedes have been accelerating at recent events, while Ferrari is aiming to bounce back after a difficult race.
However, racers will face greater challenges when temperatures reach above 30 degrees Celsius. Highs of 34C are expected on Friday and Saturday during practice and qualifying.
Race day on Sunday also had a maximum temperature of 34 degrees, however there was still a risk of thunderstorms throughout the day. However, the temperature inside the cockpit will increase much higher, promoting the driver’s physical and mental training. Many drivers struggled at last year’s Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix which was held in extremely hot and humid conditions.
