Drake Mocks Kendrick Lamar by Hiring OVO Model Who Resembles His Fiancée.
Drake seems to have reignited his long-standing feud with Kendrick Lamar by hiring a model who closely resembles Kendrick’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, for his OVO clothing brand.

Drake’s decision to employ Braedyn Ferguson, a model bearing a striking resemblance to Whitney Alford, has not gone unnoticed. Fans quickly pointed out the similarity after photos from OVO’s latest collection were shared on Instagram, sparking controversy and speculation about Drake’s intentions.

The reaction from fans was swift and pointed. “They’re trying to replace Whitney with a lookalike. Drake’s team is trying to sabotage him [crying face emoji],” one fan commented. Another added, “No, they’re doing this to troll Ken.” A third remarked, “Whitney in tight clothes…you guys are so petty,” referring to Ferguson’s outfit in the promotional images.

This is not the first time Drake has involved Whitney Alford in his feud with Kendrick Lamar. In his diss tracks “Push Ups” and “Family Matters,” Drake made several inflammatory accusations. In “Family Matters,” he rapped, “When you hit your girlfriend, was that self-defense ’cause she’s bigger than you? […] They hired a crisis management team to handle it when you hit your queen/ The picture you paint ain’t what it seems, you’re already dead.”

Drake also questioned Kendrick’s commitment to Alford, suggesting infidelity and reluctance to marry her: “Why did you move to New York?/ Is it because you’re living the single life?/ Got engaged in 2015 but didn’t want her to be your actual wife/ I guess that wedding isn’t happening, right?/ Because we know the girls you really like/ Your darkest secrets are coming to light.”

He went even further, insinuating that one of Kendrick and Whitney’s children might be fathered by K. Dot’s manager, Dave Free: “You treated her bad her entire life, you tried to make it right/ I heard one of their kids might actually be Dave Free’s.”
Kendrick Lamar has not remained silent. He included Alford and their two children in his music video for “Not Like Us,” depicting a happy family scene as a direct counter to Drake’s claims. The video, showing the family dancing together, became a powerful visual rebuttal to the ongoing allegations.

In his song “Mother I Sober” from the album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Kendrick opened up about his past mistakes and his journey to recovery, admitting to infidelity and addressing his sex addiction. “Drunk, a nature so lustful that I didn’t mention/ Insecurities that I project, sleeping with other women/ Whitney’s hurt, the pure soul I know, I found her in the kitchen/ Asking God, ‘Where did I lose myself? And can it be forgiven?’” he rapped.

Whitney Alford also made an appearance at the end of the song, alongside their daughter, saying: “You did it, I’m proud of you. You broke a generational curse. Say, ‘Thank you, Dad.’”
