Conor McGregor Mercilessly FIRES Mike Perry from His Bare-Knuckle Boxing Promotion After Former UFC Star Gets Knocked Out by Jake Paul in the Sixth Round.

Conor McGregor Fires Mike Perry After Sixth-Round Knockout Loss to Jake Paul.

In a dramatic turn of events, Conor McGregor has announced that Mike Perry has been fired from his promotional role after suffering a knockout loss in the sixth round against Jake Paul. The 32-year-old Bare Knuckle Fighting Champion was a last-minute replacement for Mike Tyson after the boxing legend withdrew from the proposed fight with Paul.

Mike Perry faced a tough battle against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, being knocked down three times before the referee stopped the fight early. The one-sided match in Florida ended with Perry on the canvas multiple times, leading to his dismissal from the promotion.

Conor McGregor, who co-owns BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship), was not impressed with Perry’s performance. After the fight, McGregor criticized Perry and announced his firing from the league. In a biting remark, McGregor even joked that Perry could join his new ‘Dirty Boxing Championship.’

“Hey Mike, you’re cut. You can go fight in that stinky, dirty boxing championship of yours. Smell it, good luck. You’re fired,” McGregor wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

In response, Perry asserted that McGregor doesn’t have the authority to fire him, as both are co-owners of BKFC. Perry challenged McGregor to face Jake Paul himself and questioned McGregor’s reluctance to step into the ring with Paul.

“He doesn’t have the license because we’re both owners of BKFC, so he can’t fire me,” Perry said post-fight. “We can go bare-knuckle. Look at me, I lost to Jake Paul, why doesn’t he fight Jake Paul in boxing with gloves? I think it would be worse than his fight with Floyd Mayweather.”

Despite his recent loss, Mike Perry has had a successful run at BKFC, securing five major victories, including wins over former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez. However, his future with the promotion now seems uncertain after this latest development.

Conor McGregor also took the opportunity to criticize Jake Paul after his tenth professional win, targeting Paul’s choice of opponents. McGregor’s remarks reflect the ongoing tension and rivalry within the boxing and MMA communities.

Conor McGregor’s decision to fire Mike Perry following his knockout loss to Jake Paul has stirred significant controversy. The dramatic dismissal, combined with McGregor’s harsh words and Perry’s defiant response, adds another chapter to the evolving story of celebrity boxing and bare-knuckle fighting. As the sports world watches closely, the ramifications of this event are sure to be felt for some time.
