Ab-Soul Claims Drake Can Never Match Kendrick Lamar In A Rap Battle.😱😱

Ab-Soul Claims Drake Can’t Compete With Kendrick Lamar In Rap Battle. Ab-Soul shared his thoughts on the discord between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, claiming that Drizzy never had a chance to compete K. Dot in rap battle.

The Top Dawg Entertainment rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to comment on the rivalry between the two rap moguls after the dust settled from their recent fight.

Soul begins by reading the lyrics to Kendrick’s diss song “6:16 in LA,” writing: “OH GOD… my confession is yours!!! But, who am I if I am not in the War? There is opportunity in living with loss. I discovered myself when I failed.”
He then said: “This is not a rap battle. This is the bible.”

After a series of mysterious tweets, the Carson, California native spoke directly to Drake. Although he did not believe he was ever a worthy opponent for Kendrick (to use the song’s lyrics), Ab-Soul supported the 6th God to redeem himself after being beaten in battle.

“If Drake was the MC, I think he could. Redemption is not out of reach,” he wrote, before adding: “Keyword ‘MC’.”

“But before my complaint gets off topic. He could never Fucc with Gang’Nem about some shyt rap. That was never a question. We can still be ‘capable’ of being on par with ‘art’. (Remove my obvious personal/academic bias).”

Soul — who appeared briefly in the video for Kendrick’s diss hit “Not Like Us” — ended his sermon by writing: “If this is considered some farce and not ISM. Well… stop if you’re angry. Damn you guys.

“PS: ‘Where are the real artists? If the picture you draw isn’t good, don’t take it to the architect.’”

Ab-Soul isn’t the only rapper to comment on the discord between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
Earlier this month, LL Cool J claimed that the OVO Sound founder was not wise in choosing to confront the Compton mogul.
Speaking with Hot 97’s TT Torrez, LL — who was no stranger to rap music at the time — didn’t hesitate to confirm who the winner was.

“Kendrick won the match. I mean, come on. That’s obvious. It was a no-brainer,” he said. “And listen, I like Drake. I like his music, he’s a great guy. We don’t know each other but I like his music. I’m happy for him and everything.”

Snoop Dogg, on the other hand, assessed the battle more diplomatically. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in May, Tha Doggfather praised both rappers for bringing lyrics back to the forefront.

“Well, the only thing I want to say about that whole situation is that I want to commend them both for raising the bar in terms of lyrics, in terms of songwriting and songwriting because the level of songwriting has improved since confrontation,” he said.

He added: “That’s my nephew. I have nothing to do with this. I support both of them and it’s personal, not my business.”

Snoop also said: “In terms of what they’ve done to the industry and the rap game, they’ve made you rap again. You can’t mumble your way through and fiddle your way through a song anymore.” , my friend. So thank you all.”
