Joe Joyce, who has shared the ring with both Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois, offers a unique perspective on the upcoming IBF world title fight between the two British heavyweights. He also compared their speed, endurance, and heart, suggesting that while Dubois might have an edge in speed due to his youth, Joshua’s experience could be a significant factor. Joyce noted, “I think they’re quite equal in their attributes. I’d edge with ‘AJ’ with his experience. But I would say Dubois hits him with the raw power.”
When pressed for a prediction, Joyce kept his cards close to his chest. “There’s a lot of variables. I’m just excited to see what happens. As soon as the fight starts, you can kind of tell. It’s whoever gets hit first really … They’ve both got good coaches for them for this fight, so it’s a real head-to-head. May the best man win.”
As Joyce looks to rebuild his career following a loss to Derek Chisora and defeats to Zhilei Zhang last year, he expressed that the all-British heavyweight clash would inspire his own comeback.
