Lil Wayne’s Manager Furious Over 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show Headliner Snub, Calls NFL Decision ‘Confusing and Disappointing’

Lil Wayne’s manager and longtime engineer, Fabian Marasciullo, has made his frustration known after the NFL announced Kendrick Lamar as the headliner for the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans. Following the announcement, Fabian took to Instagram to express his discontent, labeling the decision as “Confusing. Disappointing. Angry.”

In a series of posts on his Instagram Story, Marasciullo didn’t hold back, venting his frustration over what he sees as a missed opportunity for Lil Wayne. “We will never again be in a position where we are at the mercy of someone else’s decision,” he stated, vowing that in the future, they would be the ones making the calls.

While clearly upset, Marasciullo also shared that he felt “inspired” by the situation, signaling that this might fuel new creative projects or career moves for Lil Wayne. As a New Orleans native and one of the biggest rap icons in the world, many fans had hoped that Wayne would get the spotlight in his hometown for such a massive event.

The news has sparked debate online, with fans voicing their opinions on whether Lil Wayne should have headlined the show instead. Many believe that Wayne, given his contributions to the music industry and his deep connection to New Orleans, would have been the perfect choice.

As the conversation continues to unfold, it’s clear that this decision has stirred emotions, not just for Lil Wayne’s team, but for fans as well. Whether or not Wayne will take the stage at a future Super Bowl remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure—this snub has only added fuel to the fire for one of hip-hop’s biggest stars.
