Mike Tyson was among the many interested spectators last night as Jake Paul secured another stoppage victory.

Paul was originally scheduled to face heavyweight boxing legend Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Dallas on Saturday. However, due to a medical emergency, the bout was postponed, with a new date set for November 15. In the meantime, Paul wanted to stay active, so his Most Valuable Promotions quickly arranged a fight with BKFC star Mike Perry. Despite Perry’s toughness and grit, his lack of refined skills led to his defeat in the fifth round.

Leading up to the fight, there was a growing belief that Perry could pose problems for Paul, especially given Perry’s undefeated streak since leaving the UFC, which included a five-fight win streak in BKFC and a Triad Combat victory.

With a significant Netflix deal and the highly anticipated fight with Tyson on the horizon, Paul managed to overcome a mid-fight scare to finish Perry. He dropped Perry within seconds of the first round and again in the second, seemingly on his way to an easy victory. However, Perry began to gain traction as Paul started to tire, finding some success in the third. Despite this, Perry was ultimately rocked late in the fourth round and stopped in the fifth.
