Leon Edwards explains why there’s “extra motivation” to “beat” Belal Muhammad at UFC 304.👇👇

UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards Eyes Victory Over Belal Muhammad at UFC 304.

UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards has set his sights on defeating Belal Muhammad as he prepares to defend his title at UFC 304.

Edwards is gearing up for his third title defense against Muhammad in the main event of UFC 304, set to take place in Manchester, England. This bout is particularly compelling as it marks a rematch of their 2021 fight, which ended in a no contest due to an accidental eye poke.

Since their initial clash, Belal Muhammad has been vocal about wanting a rematch with Edwards, and now, his call has been answered. Heading into the bout, Edwards is motivated by Muhammad’s persistent challenges, aiming to silence his opponent once and for all.

“I’ve never lost an amateur or professional fight in England, and to be headlining in Manchester against Belal Muhammad, who’s been calling out my name for a long time, gives me extra motivation to go out there and beat him,” Edwards stated on the UFC 304 Countdown show. “I believe I’m better than him wherever the fight goes. My mindset, my understanding of the game, and my MMA IQ are far superior. That will show on Fight Night. Come Fight Night in Manchester, he’ll have a lot to answer for, and I’ll go out there and finish him.”

It’s clear that Leon Edwards is not a fan of Belal Muhammad. He is determined to prove that he would have won their first encounter if not for the unfortunate eye poke. Edwards plans to showcase his superiority and put Muhammad in his place, ensuring everyone knows they are not on the same level. Entering UFC 304, Edwards holds a strong -258 betting odds, reflecting the confidence bettors have in the British fighter.

Edwards is coming off a successful title defense against Colby Covington in December, marking his second defense. Now, he is looking to continue his reign by overcoming Muhammad in their much-anticipated rematch.

As UFC 304 approaches, the anticipation for the Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad rematch is building. Edwards, driven by Muhammad’s taunts, aims to solidify his dominance and quiet his challenger. With the fight set in Manchester, Edwards is ready to defend his home turf and maintain his undefeated record in England. Fans eagerly await this high-stakes showdown, which promises to deliver an explosive conclusion to their rivalry.
