Red Bull have been fined €200 after both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez exceeded the pit lane speed limit by 0.1 km/h during FP1 of the Belgian Grand Prix.
The pit lane speed limit at Spa-Francorchamps is set at 80 km/h – the standard speed on F1 race weekends.
However, both Red Bull drivers breached that limit during the weekend’s opening practice session.
As a result, the FIA fined their team €100 for each violation, which constitutes a breach of Article 34.7 of the F1 sporting regulations.
Verstappen led FP1 by more than half a second over McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, while Perez was seventh.
