Manager Eddie Hearn Confidently Predicts That Anthony Joshua Will Decisively Defeat Daniel Dubois.

Promoter Eddie Hearn is highly confident about Anthony Joshua’s prospects ahead of his upcoming bout with Daniel Dubois on September 21.

“The renowned boxing figure Eddie Hearn has expressed his thoughts on the upcoming clash between ‘homeboy’ Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois taking place in September,” Hearn shared with DAZN. “If Dubois fights like he did against Hrgovic, he could very well be knocked out early. I think Dubois will be blown away, but regardless, he remains a very dangerous puncher. You don’t want to trade tricks with Daniel Dubois; instead, you need accuracy and explosiveness to put him in a tough spot.”

This fight holds significant importance for both Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois, especially for Joshua, who is eager to reclaim the IBF heavyweight title from Dubois.

Against the backdrop where compatriot Tyson Fury and ‘absolute champion’ Oleksandr Usyk are dominating the heavyweight division, a victory over Daniel Dubois would be a major boost to Anthony Joshua’s reputation. Joshua has shown impressive form recently with a streak of four consecutive wins. Earlier this year, the British boxer scored a knockout victory against the phenomenon Francis Ngannou, who had previously stunned Tyson Fury with a surprising defeat in his first professional boxing match. Joshua’s recent notable victories also include wins over Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius, and Jermaine Franklin.

On the other hand, Daniel Dubois secured a technical knockout victory over Filip Hrgovic in the eighth round earlier this year to claim the IBF heavyweight title. The British boxer has won 6 out of his last 7 fights, with his only defeat coming against Oleksandr Usyk in August last year.

The epic showdown between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois is scheduled to take place on September 21 at the prestigious Wembley Stadium.
