Jake Paul Counterattacks Conor McGregor: ‘Stop Using Cocaine’
Jake Paul reacted harshly to UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s taunt of being called ‘idiot’ on Thursday. In the final press conference before the match with Mike Perry this weekend, Paul did not hesitate to tell McGregor to “stop using cocaine” and seriously accept the challenge. McGregor called Paul an “idiot” in an interview earlier in the day.
Jake Paul, YouTube star and boxer, will face Mike Perry in Texas on Saturday night. Perry replaced Mike Tyson, who had to withdraw for medical reasons.
At the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship press conference, McGregor expressed his opinion on the fight: “Look at Michael Perry, one of our big stars. He calls himself ‘The King of Violence.’ He has improved a lot in this sport and now has to face an idiot this weekend.
Not to be outdone, Paul responded by accusing McGregor of using drugs without evidence: “Conor McGregor can say whatever he wants, but he won’t fight me. After I beat down Mike Perry, Conor, get ready… but you won’t because you know what’s going to happen. You know what I did to Nate Diaz, the guy you sparred with. So Conor, please stop doing cocaine, get in the gym and start winning… and then maybe we can talk.”
Jake Paul is determined to prove himself this weekend: “You’ll see what I’ll do to their best fighter on Saturday night. I’ll put their entire division to shame. Those guys (boxers) BKFC fighters) are just fighters, idiots, street fighters, who don’t know what sweet science is.”
Mike Perry responded to Paul’s disrespect: “He’s a disrespectful thug. Those men and women fight for their families at BKFC. They bet everything, step into the ring station and perform for the fans.”
This weekend, the match between Jake Paul and Mike Perry promises to be very dramatic, as both boxers are determined to prove their mettle in the martial arts world.
