Jake Paul has revealed that Mike Tyson expressed concerns about his decision to fight Mike Perry this weekend, instead of their scheduled bout. Originally set to face Tyson in a heavyweight match in Texas, the event was postponed to November due to Tyson’s training needs. Paul, however, must first face Mike Perry, a bare-knuckle boxer and former UFC star, whom Tyson described as a “killer.”
Despite Tyson’s concerns, Jake Paul remains confident about his upcoming fight. He acknowledged Tyson’s worries but reassured him, stating, “Don’t worry, I’m going to put this guy to sleep. This guy is a Mike appetiser and then you’re next.” Paul, known for his outspoken confidence and social media presence, has won nine out of his ten professional fights since his debut in 2020, with his only loss against Tommy Fury last year.
Paul emphasized his readiness to face anyone and his determination to settle the score with Perry, whom he has had a contentious relationship with. He expressed his intent to end their feud decisively during their upcoming match.
