Jake Paul considers Mike Perry to be a suitable replacement for Mike Tyson in their upcoming fight on Saturday in Tampa. Originally scheduled to face Tyson, Paul pivoted to Perry after Tyson withdrew due to a medical issue. Paul sees Perry as a formidable opponent, likening him to a “Mike Tyson appetizer” due to his aggressive and fearless fighting style. Paul views this bout as a valuable opportunity to gain more experience before potentially facing Tyson in November at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
“To be honest, I was nervous going into the Mike Tyson fight because of how scary he is, how much more experience he has, and so any more experience I can get under my belt, the better,” Paul continued.
