Lamine Yamal Shares for the First Time a Viral Photo Taken With Lionel Messi

Young star Lamine Yamal shared for the first time a viral photo taken with superstar Lionel Messi, causing a stir in the online community recently.

This photo taken in 2007 captured the image of Lionel Messi bathing little boy Lamine Yamal, who was only 6 months old at the time. This photo was taken while Messi was filming for a charity calendar. When the photo was posted by Yamal’s father in early July, many people were even skeptical because they had never seen it in the past 17 years.

In an interview with Spanish media on June 12, Lamine Yamal explained for the first time why his family never published this photo. The 17-year-old prodigy said: “Obviously at the time the photo was taken, I couldn’t have known what was happening. My dad saved it but never posted it because the whole family didn’t want to be compared to Messi. No one feels uncomfortable being compared to the greatest player in history but the truth is you can never do like him.

Yamal has idolized Messi since he was a child and often watches the Argentine superstar play at Barcelona. However, Messi left the Spanish club in 2021, two years before Yamal was promoted to the first team. Even though he no longer has the opportunity to play on the same field as his idol, Yamal always holds in his heart his admiration and love for Messi.

The latest photo of Yamal standing next to Messi has stirred up the online community. This image not only evokes beautiful memories of the past but also demonstrates the special bond between a promising young star and a living legend of world football.

Lamine Yamal is gradually asserting his position in the football world and is expected to become a bright star in the future. Comparison with Messi can be a great pressure, but it is also a motivation for Yamal to continue to strive and develop.

With talent and constant effort, Yamal can write his own success story, following in his idol’s footsteps and bringing pride to his family and fans.
