Tyson Fury may have suffered from brain dam_age after his fight with Oleksandr Usyk, he is still under the illusion that he won.

Tyson Fury Prepares for Rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, Maintains He Won First Fight

Tyson Fury is back in the gym, training hard in preparation for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. Despite his narrow loss to the Ukrainian on May 18, Fury remains confident that he did enough to win their initial encounter.

Last month, Fury suffered the first defeat of his professional career via a split decision. The bout was a historic one, marking the first undisputed heavyweight clash since Lennox Lewis faced Evander Holyfield in 1999. Usyk emerged victorious, claiming Fury’s WBC heavyweight title and retaining his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles.

Immediately after the fight, Fury expressed his belief that he had won, accusing the judges of bias due to Ukraine being at war. “I thought I’d won the fight,” Fury said at the time, “and I still think I did.”

A month has passed, and Fury’s stance remains unchanged. “I’ve watched the fight back lots and still got the same answer – I thought I won. Usyk knows he didn’t beat me… I thought I boxed the head right off him for most of the rounds,” Fury asserted.

With the rematch on the horizon, Fury is determined to reclaim his titles and prove his point in the ring. The Gypsy King is focused on his training and eager to show the world that he is the true champion.
