Sergey Lapin was able to play a part in Oleksandr Usyk defeating Tyson Fury in May and he’s insistent his fighter will do it again when the pair clash later this year.
Lapin, a key part of Usyk’s training team, believes the rematch could be the last time we see Fury as a professional boxer.
In their first meeting, Usyk overcome a tough start to produce a brilliant ninth round where he almost stopped Fury before winning on the scorecards.
The rivals are set to meet again on December 21 and Lapin has had his say on how the contest could play out.
“Fury will have his opportunity again in December, but this time it will not go the distance,” said Lapin when speaking to Betway.
“Usyk has studied, scanned, and seen all of his trump cards. Fury has nothing else to play, this will be the last fight of his career. Usyk will retire Tyson Fury.”
