Jake Paul’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, suggests that ‘The Problem Child’ could potentially make his MMA debut in 2025. Despite signing with the PFL in January 2023 and initial plans for competition last year, Paul has yet to step into the MMA arena. Currently, his focus remains on his thriving professional boxing career, with upcoming bouts against former UFC star Mike Perry scheduled for July 20 and a match with boxing legend Mike Tyson set for November 15.

While there is skepticism within the MMA community about Paul’s transition to the Octagon, Bidarian acknowledges similar doubts but emphasizes ongoing efforts to secure the right opponent. Among those considered is former adversary Tommy Fury, with whom discussions have taken place.

“Jake’s goal is to venture into MMA, but everything must align for that to happen,” Bidarian stated on the MMA Hour. “I believe 2025 could be the right time, pending finding the suitable opponent. We’ve had discussions with Nate Diaz, though there are challenges involved. Additionally, talks with Tommy Fury have included the possibility of a boxing rematch, with a potential trilogy in the PFL contingent upon the outcome.”
