Jake Paul expressed frustration with Mike Tyson after observing the heavyweight legend engaging in activities such as partying since withdrawing from their scheduled boxing match. Despite Tyson’s initial ulcer-related postponement, Paul will now face former UFC fighter Mike Perry on July 20.
Paul’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, conveyed Paul’s displeasure, noting Tyson’s active lifestyle in Europe, which contradicted Paul’s understanding of his injury recovery. Bidarian also defended the planned match against criticism, citing the age gap as an equalizer that makes the bout compelling and unpredictable, contrasting Paul’s four-year professional career against Tyson’s extensive 14-year tenure at a similar age.
