‘Crazy’ Footage Of A Man Breaking A World Record With A Death Dive Shocked Everyone

While most of us were probably at home watching Christmas movies over the weekend, this guy decided to go out and break a world record.

Ken Stormes has been branded ‘crazy’ by his 496,000 Instagram followers over his heartbreaking videos shared online.

From doing squats on mountain tops, to taking dips in freezing cold water – there seems to be very little that Ken won’t do.

One thing that has helped him gain a huge fan base online is his incredible (yet disturbing) videos of him performing death dives, which mostly seem to be taken in his hometown of Na His prestige.

His latest video was shared to Instagram yesterday (December 3) and it’s safe to say it’s the infantry veteran’s scariest video to date.

In the clip, Ken stands on a kind of mechanical ledge before he throws a large rock to demonstrate how high the fall is.

Not long after, he gave chase and plunged into the icy waters below.

Then a group of people went into the water to give him water to make sure Ken was okay.

With his efforts, Ken officially broke the world record for deepest diving at the highest altitude of 40.5 meters (132ft).

A Norwegian holds the title of highest female diver – Asbjørg Nesje set a record at a depth of 30.5 meters.

“Once again we bring the deathdive world record back to Norway where it belongs,” he wrote alongside the video.

Ken added: “This is crazy!”

And thousands of his followers have similar feelings.

“How do you not die doing this? It’s like hitting concrete,” one person asked.

Another joked: “Really thought you were going to die doing this, his big nuts definitely lessened the impact.”

Another exclaimed: “You didn’t just set a world record, you did more!

“I never thought this could happen in human history! Sir, I am honored to witness your disqualifying extreme sport.”

The general consensus in the rest of the comments was that people asked ‘what the heck actually?’ – and I tend to agree with their sentiments.

And needless to say, from the number of people tagged and listed in the video’s comments section, it can be seen that there was a strong team behind his dive.

With this in mind, you should definitely not do this without proper training and support.

As the proverb says: don’t try this at home, kids.
