Max Verstappen wants to rent a Mercedes AMG GT from utility vehicle rental company Sixt at Faro airport, Algarve, Portugal. However, the 2023-year-old F1 champion was rejected. By sewing, according to regulations, people over 30 years old are eligible to sew vehicles.
According to the British newspaper, Max Verstappen was strong when he learned that he was refused to rent his favorite Mercedes car. Being a world champion for 3 years in a row and often driving cars with powerful engines, he couldn’t hide his surprise when he couldn’t rent a commercial car to travel. However, this is the rule and Max Verstappen still has to cooperate.
When contacted by The Sun for an interview, Sixt’s representative shared that staff in Portugal only handle cases outside the regulations arising for insurance reasons.
“Regarding the matter of Max Verstappen, we have offered him another high-end car that complies with the regulations. However, Max’s reasonable case can still be considered for more flexible handling.
