Legendary Formula 1 team boss Flavio Briatore is said to have rekindled his romance with ex-wife Elisabetta Gregoraci, who is 30 years his junior
Former F1 team principal Flavio Briatore is said to have rekindled a romance with his ex-wife, Elisabetta Gregoraci, who is 30 years his junior.
The former QPR owner, 47, and the Wonderbra model, 44, have one son, Nathan, together who was born in 2010. In 2017 they separated before divorcing in 2018 after spending nine years together. However, just over half a decade later, it has been claimed the two have reignited their romance.
According to Italian outlets Dagospa and Gazzetta dello Sport, the pair are rumoured to have rekindled their relationship. Dagospia report: “There are rumors that Briatore has once again made a dent in the heart of his ex-wife Elisabetta Gregoraci.”
The Italian outlet continued: “In recent years, he had flaunted several flings to make the mother of his son jealous. And she had ended up finding solace in the arms of entrepreneur Giulio Fratini. Now, the suspicious reconciliation. And what happened to poor Giulio?”
Briatore, who is currently an executive advisor to F1 team Alpine, and Gregoraci are said to have maintained a good relationship due to their son. They live close to each other in Monte Carlo, and often “dine together”. And it has also been claimed that Gregoraci and “poor Giulio” are no longer an item either.
Previously, Briatore had spent two decades as a team principal for both Renault and Benetton. He eventually resigned in 2009 after being found guilty of being involved in race fixing at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix.
However, he is now back involved in Formula One with Alpine, who were formerly Renault, with team CEO Luca de Meo appointing the 74-year-old as a special advisor.
