LeBron James Sh0cks Fans “I Lost Focus”Playing with Son Bronny on the Same Court

When LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, step onto the NBA court together, they will make history as the first father-son duo to play alongside each other in the league. It’s not just the fans buzzing with excitement—LeBron himself has admitted that this monumental moment has been on his mind throughout the off-season.

During a recent appearance on the DraftKings podcast, the four-time NBA champion opened up about the thrill of sharing the court with his son. “It’s one of the greatest things in the world to work with your kid,” LeBron said.

For the first time this off-season, LeBron and Bronny trained side by side as professionals. “This week, we got back into the gym, and it was really the first time that me and Bronny were on the floor together as professionals,” LeBron revealed. “I had a couple of moments where I just lost focus.”

LeBron, known for his unmatched focus and dedication, admitted that being on the same court as his son was a new, emotional experience. After 22 pre-seasons in his career, this one is undoubtedly the most special for the Akron-born superstar.

“There were times I found myself just watching him,” LeBron continued. “Watching him prepare, watching him grind. It’s going to be an unbelievable year for both of us.”

This historic season will likely be remembered as one of the most iconic moments in sports. The last time a father-son duo played together in a professional league was in 2001, when Tim Raines Sr. and Jr. took the field for the Baltimore Orioles. Given the ever-increasing competitiveness in professional sports, such moments are becoming rarer, making the James family’s accomplishment all the more significant.

LeBron isn’t taking the moment for granted. After spending his career laser-focused on championships and accolades, he admits he wants to “enjoy the moment a little bit more” this season.

“You can get so engulfed in the preparation and process that you lose track of things you should celebrate,” LeBron said. “With Bronny here now, I can have those moments where I just sit back and appreciate the moment itself. It doesn’t last forever.”

As one of the greatest athletes of all time reflects on this new chapter, fans can expect to see emotional moments between father and son throughout the season. The Lakers’ pre-season begins on Saturday, October 5th, against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the basketball world waits in anticipation for the first time two Jameses take the court together.
